Academy of Pizza è la prima Scuola di formazione professionale per pizzaioli promossa dall’APN – Associazione Pizzaiuoli Napoletani.
Si tratta di un importante progetto di formazione che si rivolge a tutti i giovani che vogliono imparare il mestiere e l’arte di pizzaiolo.
Ispirato ai modelli di eccellenza delle grandi scuole di cucina nazionali ed internazionali, i corsi organizzati e tenuti dai docenti dell’Academy of Pizza hanno un duplice obiettivo: favorire l’inserimento di ragazzi nel mondo del lavoro e tutelare il patrimonio gastronomico e culturale della pizza, (probabilmente) il piatto italiano più famoso al mondo.
La Scuola di formazione professionale per pizzaioli Academy of Pizza si trova a Napoli.
Qui si tengono i corsi che consistono sostanzialmente in tre parti: la prima teorica viene svolta in aula; la seconda sarà sul campo con visite aziendali presso le sedi dei principali produttori di materie prime; la terza consiste nella parte pratica con lezioni in laboratorio.
Alla fine del percorso formativo, i pizzaioli prenderanno parte ad un periodo di stage in famose pizzerie. In questo modo potranno mettere in pratica quanto appreso durante il corso.
I corsi sono a numero chiuso – vi possono partecipare un massimo di 12 alunni: il motivo di questa scelta è dovuto alla maggiore facilità di apprendimento in un’aula non affollata.
Oltre ai corsi professionali – al termine dei quali viene rilasciato un diploma che attesta la partecipazione e le competenze acquisite – l’Academy of Pizza organizza corsi amatoriali per chi vuole avvicinarsi al mondo della pizza, e corsi di specializzazione per professionisti; ad esempio quello che insegna tutti i segreti della pizza senza glutine, o quello incentrato su Margherita e Marinara in versione “Specialità Tradizionale Garantita”.

Dopo aver compilato l’apposito form, l’Academy of Pizza si riserva di accettare o meno la candidatura; in caso positivo invierà a mezzo email l’esito positivo attraverso una lettera ufficiale di ammissione al corso.
